Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year technology foresight frameworks using AI-driven trend analysis and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify emerging tech opportunities in quantum computing, biotech, and neuro interfaces
- Produce annual 'Future State' reports for executive board with actionable strategic recommendations
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Translate complex technological concepts into compelling narratives for stakeholders and investors
- Monitor geopolitical shifts and regulatory landscapes impacting technology adoption
- Oversee prototyping of futuristic concepts in our innovation lab
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Forecasting, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology R&D
- Proven expertise in emerging technologies (blockchain, AI, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies and trend analysis tools
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence C-level executives
- Published thought leadership in technology futurism (white papers, patents, or keynotes)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ technology foresight projects with measurable impact
- Global perspective with experience in diverse technological ecosystems
