Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech trends to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026+ market dominance
- Develop and execute technology roadmaps aligning with business objectives and emerging standards
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize complex data into actionable strategic initiatives
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate next-gen solutions (e.g., AI governance frameworks)
- Present strategic insights to stakeholders through compelling data visualizations and scenario modeling
- Monitor geopolitical/regulatory shifts impacting tech adoption and adjust strategies proactively
- Build thought leadership through whitepapers, conference keynotes, and industry advisory boards
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with demonstrable impact on future-facing initiatives
- Expertise in emerging tech domains: quantum computing, generative AI, or climate tech
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Futures Studies, or related field
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFIP) or technology forecasting methodologies
- Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into executive-level narratives
- Experience advising Fortune 500 companies on 5+ year technology transformations
- Strong network within Silicon Valley innovation ecosystems and academic research institutions
- Portfolio demonstrating scenario planning outputs and technology trend analyses
