Responsibilities
- Process and verify incoming government documents, permits, and applications with high accuracy.
- Provide exceptional customer service to citizens and businesses visiting our office or contacting via phone/email.
- Maintain and organize confidential records in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of weekly reports and data entry for departmental statistics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline administrative workflows and improve efficiency.
- Perform general office duties, including answering multi-line phones and managing correspondence.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate's degree in Business Administration or Public Service preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in administrative support or government office settings.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and government database software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse populations.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening as part of our security clearance.
- Must be available to work a standard 40-hour work week.
