Responsibilities
- Process and maintain confidential municipal records with 99.9% accuracy
- Coordinate interdepartmental communications and documentation workflows
- Manage public inquiries regarding city services via phone/email
- Prepare reports and correspondence for city council presentations
- Assist with budget tracking and procurement documentation
- Implement records retention policies per Florida Sunshine Law requirements
- Train staff on new administrative procedures and software systems
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Public Administration or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 2 years administrative experience in government sector
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean record
- Ability to obtain Level 2 Background Clearance
- Knowledge of Florida public records laws and procurement processes
- Strong written/verbal communication skills
- US citizenship required for government clearance
