Responsibilities
- Process and manage public records in compliance with Florida Sunshine Law requirements
- Coordinate inter-departmental communications and documentation workflows
- Assist citizens with permit applications and municipal service inquiries
- Maintain accurate digital and physical filing systems using CMS protocols
- Support grant application processes and compliance documentation
- Conduct data entry and report generation for departmental analytics
- Participate in community outreach initiatives as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred
- Minimum 1 year administrative or government experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems
- Strong attention to detail with ability to handle confidential information
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to pass background check and fingerprinting requirements
- Valid Florida driver's license (if field visits required)
- Knowledge of Jacksonville municipal processes a plus
