Responsibilities
- Oversee Weekend Operations: Manage and direct the daily administrative functions of the department during weekend shifts to ensure continuity of services.
- Public Assistance: Greet visitors and answer incoming calls to provide information regarding county programs, policies, and procedures.
- Document Management: Process incoming mail, distribute internal memos, and file reports accurately in accordance with government record-keeping standards.
- Compliance & Security: Monitor facility access points, ensure adherence to safety protocols, and report any maintenance issues or security concerns immediately.
- Data Entry: Update and maintain digital records and databases with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reporting: Prepare and compile weekly summaries of activities for review by the Monday morning supervisory staff.
Qualifications
- Citizenship: Must be a United States Citizen.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Business Administration or Public Service is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an office administration or customer service role within a government or corporate setting.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday).
- Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic computer navigation.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse populations.
