Responsibilities
- Manage High-Volume Correspondence: Process incoming and outgoing mail, emails, and faxes with extreme accuracy and confidentiality.
- Public Information Services: Serve as the primary point of contact for citizens and visitors, directing inquiries to the appropriate departments.
- Record Management: Maintain and organize physical and digital filing systems, ensuring strict adherence to government retention schedules.
- Data Entry & Reporting: Update departmental databases, prepare statistical reports, and assist in budget tracking.
- Meeting Support: Schedule appointments, coordinate logistics for city council meetings, and prepare briefing materials.
- Compliance: Ensure all administrative processes comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Business Administration or Public Administration is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of administrative experience in a government or corporate office setting.
- Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with case management software.
