Responsibilities
- Manage high-volume correspondence, including email, phone, and mail for department leadership.
- Maintain and organize complex filing systems in strict compliance with state records management laws.
- Prepare, review, and distribute official documents, memos, and reports.
- Assist in the coordination of inter-agency meetings and travel arrangements.
- Perform data entry and update internal databases to ensure data accuracy.
- Answer inquiries from the public and state employees regarding departmental policies and procedures.
- Support special projects and initiatives as assigned by senior management.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Business Administration or Public Administration is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in administrative support or a government office setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and government case management software.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with strict confidentiality.
