Responsibilities
- Review and negotiate government contracts for compliance with federal/state regulations
- Manage procurement processes for public infrastructure projects
- Maintain accurate contract documentation and reporting systems
- Coordinate with city departments and external vendors
- Ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines and procurement policies
- Research and implement best practices in public contracting
- Provide support for emergency response contract management
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field
- 3+ years of government contracting or procurement experience
- Certification in Federal Acquisition (FAC-C) or equivalent preferred
- Strong knowledge of FAR/DFARS regulations
- Proficiency in contract management software (e.g., Deltek)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
