Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the City's core enterprise infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage systems.
- Monitor system performance and implement proactive maintenance strategies to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy secure IT solutions aligned with government compliance standards (NIST, ISO).
- Perform troubleshooting and incident management for hardware and software issues across multiple sites.
- Document technical processes and create knowledge bases for internal staff.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in IT operations or systems administration within the public sector or large enterprise.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Valid ITIL v4 Foundation certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
