Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity frameworks for municipal systems
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Manage incident response protocols for security breaches
- Develop and enforce IT security policies compliant with NIST standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security architecture
- Train staff on cybersecurity best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years in IT security with government/public sector experience
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Expertise in network security tools (SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS)
- Knowledge of federal/state compliance requirements (FISMA, HIPAA)
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related field
