Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the organization's network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and security for government systems.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential security risks.
- Implement and maintain compliance with federal regulations, including NIST and FISMA standards.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for internal staff and external government stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy scalable software solutions.
- Monitor system performance and optimize hardware/software resources to meet operational demands.
- Document technical processes and maintain detailed records of system configurations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in IT support or systems administration within a government or defense contracting environment.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and VPN technologies.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for site visits.
