Responsibilities
- Manage and process incoming applications, inquiries, and correspondence related to municipal services.
- Conduct research and compile data to assist department heads in policy formulation and decision-making.
- Coordinate community outreach events and public meetings to foster transparency and engagement.
- Prepare detailed reports, memos, and correspondence using Microsoft Office Suite and internal databases.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new initiatives and improve operational efficiency.
- Provide exceptional customer service to citizens, addressing concerns and answering questions professionally.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in administrative support, customer service, or government operations.
- Must be a resident of the State of Arizona (Mesa residency preferred).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with CRM software is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening prior to employment.
