Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering phones, responding to inquiries, and directing visitors to the appropriate departments.
- Process and maintain accurate administrative records, files, and databases using government software systems.
- Prepare, proofread, and distribute official correspondence, reports, and memorandums.
- Assist the public with applications, forms, and access to public records.
- Coordinate schedules, arrange meetings, and manage department calendars.
- Perform data entry tasks with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Support senior staff with various special projects and general office duties.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Basic computer proficiency and experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred.
- No prior government experience is required; we value potential and attitude.
