Responsibilities
- Patrol and monitor designated municipal facilities during night shift hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Operate access control systems and conduct security screenings at government buildings
- Respond to alarms and emergencies following established protocols
- Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain security documentation
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during critical incidents
- Conduct routine equipment checks and safety inspections
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Valid Virginia driver's license with clean record
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- Ability to pass background check and government clearance
- First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Proficient in surveillance systems and communication devices
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours
