Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance systems and respond to security alerts during overnight hours
- Conduct regular patrols of city facilities and high-priority areas
- Coordinate emergency responses with police/fire departments
- Maintain detailed incident reports and security logs
- Operate communication systems during critical events
- Enforce access control procedures for restricted areas
- Provide first aid/CPR assistance when required
Qualifications
- Valid Illinois Security Officer License or equivalent certification
- Minimum 2 years experience in security, law enforcement, or emergency services
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts (11 PM - 7 AM)
- CPR/First Aid certification within 90 days of hire
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and surveillance systems
- Strong written communication skills for incident reporting
