Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to critical infrastructure alerts during overnight hours (11 PM - 7 AM)
- Coordinate with federal agencies during security incidents and emergency protocols
- Generate detailed incident reports and compliance documentation
- Maintain classified information systems with zero-compromise security protocols
- Conduct vulnerability assessments of digital and physical assets
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams during high-priority operations
- Participate in monthly emergency response drills
Qualifications
- Active U.S. government security clearance (or ability to obtain Secret clearance)
- 3+ years in federal/local government operations or cybersecurity
- Night shift experience with 24/7 operational environments
- Proficiency in incident response tools (Splunk, SIEM platforms)
- Knowledge of NIST/FISMA compliance frameworks
- Ability to maintain situational awareness during extended overnight shifts
- Excellent written communication for reporting protocols
