Responsibilities
- Manage and process government documentation, permits, and records during weekend operations.
- Greet and assist visitors, constituents, and vendors at the front desk, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment.
- Verify and input data into secure government databases with a high degree of accuracy.
- Coordinate with weekday staff to ensure seamless handover of ongoing projects and critical tasks.
- Respond to inquiries regarding local government services and procedures via phone or email.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the office facilities to meet regulatory standards.
- Assist in preparing weekly reports and statistical summaries for department heads.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Public Administration or Business is preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in administrative support, customer service, or government operations.
- Must be available to work weekends (Friday through Sunday) on a rotating or fixed schedule.
- Strong attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and fingerprinting as required for government employment.
- Valid California driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
