Responsibilities
- Analyze complex legislative proposals and regulatory impacts using quantitative and qualitative methodologies
- Develop evidence-based policy recommendations for state agencies and legislative committees
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for public officials and stakeholders
- Coordinate interdepartmental projects to ensure policy alignment and implementation
- Monitor federal and state legislative developments affecting Ohio's public services

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Economics, or related field
- Minimum 3 years experience in government policy analysis or legislative affairs
- Advanced knowledge of Ohio state government operations and regulatory frameworks
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS) and policy modeling software
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with ability to simplify complex topics
- Valid Ohio driver's license and ability to travel statewide as needed
- Professional certification (e.g., CPPA) strongly preferred
