Responsibilities
- Develop and implement state-wide program policies aligned with legislative mandates
- Analyze legislative impacts and recommend regulatory adjustments
- Coordinate inter-agency projects with 15+ state departments
- Prepare detailed budgetary reports and grant applications
- Conduct public outreach initiatives and stakeholder meetings
- Manage program compliance audits and corrective action plans
- Train agency staff on new policy implementations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field
- 3+ years of government or nonprofit program management experience
- Texas State residency required at time of application
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data visualization tools
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- Professional certification in Public Administration (PPA or MPA preferred)
- U.S. citizenship and ability to pass federal background check
