Responsibilities
- Enforce local and state laws to ensure public safety and order
- Respond to emergency calls and incidents in a timely manner
- Conduct patrols to prevent crime and detect suspicious activities
- Prepare detailed reports and maintain accurate records of incidents
- Collaborate with other law enforcement agencies and community organizations
- Provide assistance to citizens during emergencies and non-emergency situations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in law enforcement or public safety is highly desirable
