Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site inspections of public infrastructure projects (roads, bridges, utilities)
- Verify compliance with OSHA, EPA, and NC state regulations
- Prepare detailed inspection reports using digital tools (GIS, CAD)
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and city officials
- Investigate citizen complaints and resolve infrastructure issues
- Manage project documentation and permit tracking systems
- Train junior inspectors on regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years construction inspection or public works experience
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with clean record

- Proficiency in inspection software (e.g., Cityworks, GIS)
