Responsibilities

- Coordinate UK government responses to US federal and state policies affecting Miami-UK relations
- Organize high-level diplomatic visits and virtual engagements between UK and Miami stakeholders
- Prepare detailed briefing papers and policy recommendations for senior UK officials
- Lead cross-departmental initiatives on trade, climate action, and security cooperation with Miami
- Represent UK interests at Miami government events, conferences, and public forums
Qualifications
- Proven experience in government relations, diplomacy, or public policy with US focus
- Deep understanding of Florida's political landscape and Miami-Dade County government structure
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to engage high-level officials
- Strong analytical skills for interpreting complex legislation and policy impacts
- Ability to travel internationally (25-30% time) with valid US passport
- Security clearance eligibility (SC level)
- Master's degree in Political Science, International Relations, or related field
