Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service and information to citizens, businesses, and state agencies via phone, email, and in-person.
- Process and review government applications, forms, and documents with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in departmental databases and filing systems.
- Assist in the coordination of government programs and ensure compliance with state regulations and policies.
- Communicate complex information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve citizen inquiries and operational issues efficiently.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service, administrative support, or a government-related role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn new database software quickly.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to de-escalate situations professionally.
- Ability to pass a standard background check and drug screening as required by state law.
- Valid driver’s license is a plus.
