Responsibilities
- Research and identify grant opportunities from federal, state, and private funding sources.
- Write clear, persuasive, and compliant grant proposals, narratives, and executive summaries.
- Develop detailed budgets and budget narratives aligned with funder requirements.
- Collaborate with program staff and leadership to gather data, outcomes, and impact metrics.
- Manage the grant calendar to ensure all deadlines are met with high-quality submissions.
- Track and report on funded projects and maintain accurate donor records.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Public Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of professional grant writing experience in the non-profit or public sector.
- Proven track record of securing significant funding through competitive applications.
- Strong research skills and the ability to synthesize complex information quickly.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with grant management software (e.g., Salesforce, Fluxx, or similar).
