Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive research on federal, state, and private foundation funding opportunities relevant to our mission.
- Develop and write persuasive grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and narratives that clearly articulate project impact.
- Collaborate with program managers and stakeholders to gather data, define objectives, and establish success metrics.
- Manage the full grant lifecycle, including submission tracking, compliance, and reporting.
- Maintain and organize a comprehensive database of funding sources and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of professional grant writing experience in the non-profit or public sector.
- Demonstrated success in securing funding from diverse sources, including government agencies and private foundations.
- Strong analytical research skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a knack for translating complex data into compelling stories.
- Proficiency in grant management software (e.g., ZoomGrants, Fluxx) and Microsoft Office Suite.
