Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and parcels along assigned routes with 100% accuracy and timeliness
- Operate delivery vehicles safely while adhering to USPS regulations and traffic laws
- Collect mail from residential and commercial mailboxes
- Maintain accurate delivery records and customer communication logs
- Sort and organize mail efficiently at the distribution center
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and at post office counter
- Operate scanning equipment for package tracking and delivery confirmation
- Report maintenance issues for delivery vehicles and equipment
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds repeatedly
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
