Responsibilities
- Sort, load, and deliver mail/packages to residential and commercial addresses along assigned routes
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and maintain accurate delivery records
- Collect postage and fees from customers when required
- Perform basic equipment maintenance and report safety hazards
- Assist with mail processing duties at the local post office as needed
- Maintain professional customer service interactions with residents and businesses
- Adhere to strict delivery timeframes and USPS regulations
Qualifications
- US citizenship or permanent resident status
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly and carry mail bag weighing 35+ lbs
- Ability to walk/drive 8+ hours daily in various weather conditions
- Basic computer skills for package scanning and route navigation
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Ability to read/sort addresses accurately and efficiently
