Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain complex software solutions for state agency clients.
- Conduct system analysis, architecture design, and code reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Implement and manage security protocols to protect sensitive government data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify technical requirements and business needs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues with minimal downtime.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal IT regulations and standards.
- Document technical specifications, processes, and code for future maintenance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development or systems administration.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
- Strong knowledge of database management systems (SQL, Oracle).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and virtualization technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Ability to obtain a background check and security clearance.
