Responsibilities
- Oversee enterprise network infrastructure and cybersecurity protocols
- Implement and maintain federal IT systems including EHR platforms
- Provide Tier 3 technical support for VA medical systems
- Coordinate disaster recovery and business continuity planning
- Manage vendor relationships for IT service delivery
- Ensure compliance with FISMA, HIPAA, and VA security policies
- Lead system upgrades and patch management initiatives
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years of IT infrastructure experience
- Active CompTIA Security+ certification
- Expertise in Windows Server and virtualization technologies
- Knowledge of VA-specific systems (VistA, Cerner) preferred
- Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
