As a key member of our IT team, you will ensure the stability and security of our critical data systems while providing top-tier technical support to government employees.
Responsibilities
- Perform system maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrades for state-wide computer networks and servers.
- Analyze data requirements and create technical reports to support agency decision-making.
- Provide expert technical support and training to internal government staff regarding software and hardware usage.
- Ensure strict compliance with state cybersecurity policies and data privacy regulations.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in IT support or systems administration.
- Proficiency in database management systems (SQL) and scripting languages.
- Strong understanding of government procurement and compliance standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Texas State Employee identification badge.
