Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain complex federal IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and hardware systems.
- Implement and enforce robust cybersecurity protocols to protect classified and sensitive information.
- Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and support for internal users and federal systems.
- Collaborate with project managers to execute digital modernization initiatives.
- Conduct regular security audits and compliance assessments in accordance with federal standards.
- Document system configurations and create technical manuals for team knowledge sharing.
- Respond to system alerts and resolve incidents to ensure 99.9% uptime for critical operations.
Qualifications
- Active Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent relevant experience).
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in network administration or systems engineering.
- Proficiency with federal IT security frameworks (e.g., NIST, FISMA) and risk management.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, and cloud technologies (AWS/Azure).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, security-conscious environment.
