Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure IT systems supporting veteran healthcare programs
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing and deploying enterprise applications
- Conduct risk assessments and implement cybersecurity protocols
- Manage IT budgets and vendor relationships for large-scale projects
- Provide technical guidance to departmental stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with federal IT regulations and standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of progressive IT experience with federal systems
- Active security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and infrastructure-as-code
- Strong project management certification (PMP preferred)
- Knowledge of VA-specific IT systems and protocols
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
