Responsibilities
- Lead system security assessments and vulnerability remediation for federal networks
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity frameworks including NIST 800-53
- Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) with security-first protocols
- Develop incident response plans and conduct threat simulations
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams on national security initiatives
- Provide technical guidance on emerging cyber threats
- Ensure compliance with federal IT security policies
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Active Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field
- 3+ years experience in federal IT security operations
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Proficiency in Python and PowerShell scripting
- Experience with FedRAMP and CUI compliance
- Knowledge of continuous monitoring tools (e.g., Tenable, Splunk)
