Responsibilities
- System Maintenance: Monitor and maintain federal IT systems, ensuring 99.9% uptime and optimal performance.
- Network Administration: Configure and troubleshoot local and wide-area networks (LAN/WAN) in accordance with federal standards.
- Cybersecurity: Implement and enforce security protocols to protect sensitive government data against cyber threats.
- Technical Support: Provide tier-2 technical support and troubleshooting for internal federal employees and systems.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of system configurations, changes, and incident reports.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or network engineering.
- Clearance: Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for interfacing with stakeholders.
