Key Responsibilities:
- Implement, maintain, and monitor security protocols for federal information systems.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Manage user access controls and identity management systems (IAM) in compliance with federal standards.
- Ensure strict adherence to NIST, FISMA, and FedRAMP compliance requirements.
- Respond to and mitigate cybersecurity incidents and security breaches.
- Provide technical documentation and incident reports to federal stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Clearance: Active Top Secret or Secret clearance is required.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in federal IT environments or with the Department of Defense.
- Certifications: Security+ (required), CISSP, or CEH preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in network security architecture, firewalls, and SIEM tools.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with senior leadership.
