Responsibilities
- Administer and secure federal information systems and networks to ensure compliance with strict government regulations.
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for complex hardware and software environments.
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity protocols, including vulnerability assessments and incident response.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy IT solutions that meet federal agency objectives.
- Document technical procedures and maintain accurate system configurations for audit readiness.
- Conduct training sessions for federal staff on new technologies and security best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Active Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance (or the ability to obtain one).
- Proven experience with federal IT systems and adherence to FISMA compliance standards.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP), virtualization, and cloud computing (AWS/Azure).
- Experience with ITIL frameworks and service desk management.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
