Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement complex IT systems and network infrastructures to support federal operations.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement security measures to protect sensitive government data.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior IT staff members.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure 24/7 operational uptime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to modernize legacy systems and improve efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations, including FISMA and NIST standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance is highly preferred.
- Proven experience with network administration, cloud computing (AWS/Azure), and cybersecurity protocols.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
- Willingness to undergo a thorough background investigation and drug screening.
