Responsibilities
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN).
- Provide Tier 2 technical support to federal employees and resolve complex IT issues.
- Implement and monitor security protocols to protect sensitive government data.
- Maintain hardware inventory and ensure compliance with federal IT standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to upgrade network infrastructure and software systems.
- Document technical procedures and system configurations for future reference.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible for a government security clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in network administration or IT support.
- Familiarity with government IT frameworks and compliance regulations (FISMA, NIST).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
