Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and maintain local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN) for federal clients.
- Perform troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of hardware and software systems.
- Implement and monitor network security measures to protect sensitive government data.
- Provide technical support and training to federal staff and resolve complex IT incidents.
- Document network architecture, configurations, and change management procedures.
- Ensure compliance with federal IT security policies and regulations (e.g., NIST).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Active Secret Security Clearance (or ability to obtain one).
- 5+ years of professional experience in IT support, network administration, or cybersecurity.
- Certifications preferred: CompTIA Security+, Network+, or ITIL Foundation.
- Experience working within a federal government or defense contracting environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.
