Responsibilities
- Manage, monitor, and troubleshoot local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN).
- Configure, install, and maintain server hardware and operating systems (Windows Server).
- Provide tier-2 technical support and troubleshooting for internal users.
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive state data.
- Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery planning.
- Collaborate with vendors and other IT teams to ensure optimal system performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in systems administration or IT support.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft Office Suite, and network protocols.
- Familiarity with ITIL framework and service desk operations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to obtain a Texas Class C Driver’s License (may be required for travel).
