Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software systems across the county.
- Provide Tier 2 technical support and training to county staff.
- Monitor network security, manage firewalls, and respond to security alerts.
- Perform routine system backups, patch management, and data recovery.
- Collaborate with external vendors to resolve complex IT issues.
- Document IT processes and maintain accurate inventory records.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- Valid CompTIA A+ or Security+ certification is highly desirable.
- Proven experience with Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, TCP/IP, and hardware components.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple technical projects.
