Responsibilities
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control within the city's Active Directory environment.
- Monitor network security systems and respond to alerts to ensure data integrity.
- Document technical issues and resolutions in the Service Desk ticketing system.
- Perform routine system maintenance and patch management for government servers.
- Collaborate with vendors to resolve complex technical issues and procure new equipment.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent work experience.
- Certification such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ is highly preferred.
- Proven experience in a Help Desk or IT Support role within a government or enterprise environment.
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office 365, and network protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
