Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
- Manage and respond to incoming service tickets via the Help Desk system, prioritizing based on urgency.
- Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of end-user devices (laptops, printers, mobile phones).
- Document all technical interactions, resolutions, and procedures in the knowledge base.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff to identify system vulnerabilities and implement preventative measures.
- Conduct basic training sessions for users on new software applications and security protocols.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Equivalent professional experience in a customer support or IT helpdesk role is acceptable.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows 10/11, Office 365, and basic networking concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a cross-functional team.
