Role Overview:
The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background and a passion for helping others. You will be the first point of contact for hardware and software issues, ensuring minimal downtime for our staff.
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 technical support, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network connectivity issues for over 500+ employees.
- Manage and deploy workstations, laptops, and peripherals using standard imaging tools.
- Configure and maintain email systems, printers, and mobile device management (MDM) solutions.
- Document all incidents, solutions, and hardware inventory using the Service Management platform.
- Collaborate with the Cybersecurity team to ensure all devices meet compliance standards.
- Conduct user training sessions on new software applications and security protocols.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent military technical training.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional IT support experience in a corporate or government environment.
- Proficient in Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office Suite, and Active Directory.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking, DNS, and DHCP.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Ability to pass a standard background check and drug screening.
