Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 innovation roadmap, identifying emerging technologies and market disruptors
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum AI, bio-integrated systems, etc.)
- Partner with R&D to establish patent portfolios and publish thought leadership in top-tier journals
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis using predictive modeling and scenario planning
- Drive sustainability initiatives aligning with UN SDGs and circular economy principles
- Present strategic vision to investors, board members, and government stakeholders
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic innovation or futurist roles with Fortune 500 or unicorn startups
- PhD or equivalent in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Proven track record launching products with >$100M market impact
- Expertise in emerging tech: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neuromorphic AI
- Published author in Harvard Business Review or similar tier publications
- Fluency in futures methodologies: Delphi, STEEP analysis, and Monte Carlo simulations
- Experience securing federal grants (DARPA, NSF) or venture capital for R&D
