Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year strategic roadmaps for quantum computing, AI ethics, and climate tech integration
- Lead scenario-planning workshops with C-suite executives to anticipate 2026 market disruptions
- Partner with R&D to prototype sustainable tech solutions for 2030 sustainability targets
- Author thought leadership reports on biotech convergence and spatial computing adoption
- Manage $5M innovation budget for experimental 2026-relevant projects
- Mentor junior futurists in trend analysis and horizon scanning methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech leadership
- Proven track record of translating futuristic concepts into commercialized products
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neurotech, or circular economy systems
- Published author in futurist publications (e.g., Futures Journal, WIRED)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Fluency in strategic scenario modeling tools (e.g., STEEP analysis, Delphi method)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ future-tech commercialization case studies
