Responsibilities
- Design & Architecture: Lead the architectural design of quantum algorithms and hybrid quantum-classical systems tailored for enterprise-scale applications.
- Research & Development: Explore emerging quantum computing paradigms and integrate them into our core product stack.
- Team Leadership: Mentor a high-performing team of quantum engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
- Optimization: Optimize quantum circuits for fidelity and speed, minimizing error rates in noisy intermediate-scale quantum (NISQ) environments.
- Collaboration: Partner closely with hardware engineers to ensure software solutions are optimized for our proprietary quantum processors.
- Strategy: Define the technical vision and long-term strategy for 2026's quantum roadmap, aligning with company goals.
Qualifications
- Education: Ph.D. in Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent significant industry experience.
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience in quantum computing, quantum software development, or advanced algorithm design.
- Tools: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, and quantum programming frameworks like Qiskit, Cirq, or PyQuil.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of quantum mechanics, linear algebra, and quantum information theory.
- Problem Solving: Strong ability to translate abstract scientific problems into robust, scalable software solutions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
