Responsibilities
- Sort, organize, and deliver mail and parcels along designated routes
- Operate postal vehicles safely and adhere to traffic regulations
- Collect outgoing mail from customers and collection boxes
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report service issues
- Provide courteous customer service at residences and businesses
- Operate scanning equipment to track deliveries
- Assist with mail processing duties at distribution centers
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly
- Strong time management and route navigation skills
- Basic computer literacy for scanning systems
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- U.S. citizenship or permanent residency
- Pass background check and drug screening
