Responsibilities
- Sort, organize, and deliver mail/packages to designated routes using USPS vehicles
- Collect outgoing mail and parcels from residential/business mailboxes
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Process priority, certified, and special handling mail with documentation
- Perform basic equipment maintenance and report mechanical issues
- Interact professionally with customers during delivery and collection
- Adhere to USPS safety protocols and delivery time standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid California driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly
- Basic computer literacy for scanning and tracking systems
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
